{dropcap}O{/dropcap}ur first idea was to see the sights of the UK and Europe for a couple of years and then go back to New Zealand. Travel is cheap to most destinations from Milton Keynes as Luton airport is not far and the Low cost airlines fly from there. We have now been here over 7 years and still have lots to see.

It's because Pete has an Irish Passport - as a EU citizen and as Kath is married to a EU citizen this means we can work and live anywhere in the EU.

Now that we have been here for longer than 4 years Kath is now able to get a British Passport too, this means we are able to bypass the "Aliens" desk at airports and go nearly straight through, with minimal time waiting in lines.
